............................................................................................

I am a mother of three beautiful girls Breana, Giraldine, and Emilee. Married to a wonderful, supportive and very loving man. We also have two beautiful dogs named Sparkles and Joon. My husband is serving in the United States Army. Which makes me very proud of what he does for our country.

Traveling is one of the things we do most in the military. It has given us a chance to build wonderful lifelong friendships along the way. We hope that this blogger will help us keep close to those friends.

Aside from running my home daycare business, I devote my time to my family and Church. These are the two most important things in my life.

Went to the popcorn festival they have at Scott AFB. The kids enjoyed getting out. It will probably be the last nice weekend before the cold starts to come in.

Happy 13th Birthday Bree.....SURPRISE!

Breana did not want a party this year BUT....I threw her a little surprise. Her friends and I hid in the house waiting for her to come home from school. She was totally surprised. Her dad bought her roses and the picture frames. I got rid of our piano to make more room in the house and replaced it with a nice keyboard with headphones for Bree.
Happy 13th Birthday Bree! We love you sooooooo much!

Miss Niemeyer

Emilee's new teacher is Miss Niemeyer. She seems very nice but hurt her leg right before school started. Let's see how Emilee will do if she has to have a sub in the beginning of the year.

First day of school.........

The girls were up early this morning for the first time all summer. Let's see how they are when they get home from this half day of school. Breana is in eight grade...wow....Giraldine goes to the same middle school...she is in sixth and little Emee is in first grade all by herself.
I have decided to start a family childcare program to be able to somewhat be home with the girls. The girls are definitely excited about it. As soon as I decided to do this, I received my new calling as the Young Womens second counselor in the presidency. WOW! I thought being a Beehive adviser was tough untill I was totally comfortable with teaching the girls...the Lord had made new plans for me. I am totally excited and almost overwhelmed that the Lord has an extreme amount of faith in me to do the work. I know that it will be a great year to come.

Freedom is not Free

This was a shirt that Tiger made to wear for that day. Unfortunately the birds did not agree. They left him a little present on his shoulder while he was leaning next to Brian's car.

The fourth of July

We spent the Fourth of July at my sisters. We were going to barbecue in town but we were not allowed to grill on the grounds. It is the one event of the year that the town makes most of their money. So after barbecuing we decided to be brave and go into Saint Louis ten minutes before the fireworks were to start. Unfortunately about a million other people were thinking the same thing. We got as far as East Saint Louis and decided to park right near the bridge, behind a building where we were able to see all of the large fireworks.

Young Women's Camp

Breana and I went on our first young women's camping trip this year. Aside from all the HUGE mosquitos that entered our cabin "shelter" it wasn't too bad. Breana was sick the whole time but she was determined to get her certifications and awards. We were definitely grateful to be back in our air conditioned home and to be able to take a hot shower.

We had a total of five Beehives that added to the 13 girls that we had total not including myself and two other leaders. It was a great first experience for young women's camp. Giraldine will be going next year and she is so excited. We will definitely be more prepared.

School's Out

Ready for summer!

It was the last day of school. The neighbors and I had a "block party" for the kids to celebrate. The girls had fun doing the crafts and games. If you look in the back you will see our house in the corner.

The kids had to guess how many pieces of candy was in each cup. For the gumballs Emilee put 121 which was our last address and won.

Giraldine guessed the closest for the lollipops.

A visit from our friends

Our friends came to visit on their way to Alaska. It was wonderful to see them. As the Army gives us many chances to travel, we hope to see all our friends again.

Emilee and Abby

Since we have moved from Fort Bragg, NC Emilee has talked about her friend everyday if not every other day. She misses our old house a lot.

Emilee and Abby.........."Friends Forever"

The cast is off!

The cast is off! We didn't know what to expect since this was our first cast. The technician didn't know either. When she went to turn on the vacuum for the cast remover thing....Emilee jumped, I jumped and the girls jumped, but get this...the technician jumped to.

Breana at school. On the left was Breana's first day of enrollment. A few days later on the right was an awful storm day. Aside from the snow that day this is the normal weather around here cold and wind.

What a brave girl...

What a brave girl she was that day. Never thought this would happen to one of the girls. I was in Saint Louis debating wether to stay and have lunch with Tiger, when the phone call came from school. The nurse underestimated the fact that it was actually broken. The x-rays said differently. Since our move to Illinois, Emilee has had her share of sickness and of course the broken wrist. But..What a brave girl she was.

Emilee is six...

Still in temporary housing...Emilee celebrates her 6th birthday. While she took a nap from a long day at school, Tiger and I gathered all her birthday surprises. She was so surprised. My how they grow so fast.
