I am a mother of three beautiful girls Breana, Giraldine, and Emilee. Married to a wonderful, supportive and very loving man. We also have two beautiful dogs named Sparkles and Joon. My husband is serving in the United States Army. Which makes me very proud of what he does for our country.

Traveling is one of the things we do most in the military. It has given us a chance to build wonderful lifelong friendships along the way. We hope that this blogger will help us keep close to those friends.

Aside from running my home daycare business, I devote my time to my family and Church. These are the two most important things in my life.

New Home

Emilee is getting on the bus for school. The bus stop only sits about 6 feet from my driveway. Great choice for the location I picked but bad for the fact that it is off the main street that comes into the area. Simple enough for me to get Emilee on the bus in the morning and watch her come off without disturbing my daycare children that take naps.

We moved into our new post housing just one month before having to leave and go to SC for my dad's surgery. This is definitely a step up in military housing for us. 2300sq feet of housing and yet still not enough room for all our junk. Junk that we are still unpacking and taking to goodwill. Mostly taking to goodwill.

Where are we?

Do you know where we are...let's look at the map.

Okay...we are here...home of the ever famous Grant's Farm in Saint Louis, MO.

Boy! These goats sure are thirsty.
Emilee says...."Mom, they want to eat my jacket...hurry buy me more milk!"

The Farm takes its name from our 18th President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant. In the 1850s, Grant founded and farmed a portion of the 281 acres. Today, this land is home to Grant's Farm and is preserved as a living symbol of the Busch family's love for animals and Anheuser-Busch's commitment to wildlife conservation and preservation.

Service

Posted in the local newspaper. This was the best picture I could get of it with my very old camera. It reads....
Sixth grade students Giraldine Duff, Hannah Geurink, Victoria Dohm and Lauren Riddles
present Patty Peek, SAFB ESC Vice-President, with over 100 Patriotic Cards of Appreciation
to be given to troops visiting the Aeromedical Staging Facility at Scott AFB Hospital.
The cards were created by the Ocelot sixth-graders during English class this spring.

Girls...the frosting is to decorate the cookie....Not your faces.

Alfredo Night

For the longest Alfredo has always been one of Breana's favorite dish. We finally set aside one night with the girls and actually made it at home. It was a great night.
The menu consisted of Alfredo and bruchetta, which is one of my favorite. Simple enough because we only had an hour and a half. We finished it off by making a large cookie/cake as an idea for Father's Day.

My Dad

For most of you know, my dad had a quadruple heart bypass surgery last month. He is now doing well and still recovering. These are pictures we took on our visit at the hospital and down in South Carolina. I think it was the first time all the grandchildren were actually together.

Art On The Square

Breana did volunteer work at what they call "Art on The Sqaure". It is known to be one of the largest in the nation. Artist come and display their art and children are able to create art at different tables.

Here you see Bree painting a little pengiun for this little girl who was absolutely excited when Bree was done. Little girls waited in line for a long time for no-one else but Bree to do their face painting.

Here you see Giraldine and Emilee putting together one of the many puzzles that local school children designed and the college cut them into large puzzle pieces.
